Danielle Snyder, the co-founder of jewelry and ready-to-wear label Dannijo, recently said, “I do,” on Harbour Island in The Bahamas, and today, we’re taking a closer look at her dreamy wedding hair. Because if you ask us, you can’t ever have too much summer beauty inspo.

The bride trusted hairstylist Owen Gould with her looks. “Helena Christensen introduced us recently, and we hit it off immediately,” Danielle explains. They hadn’t worked together before the wedding, but when Helena Christensen give you a tip—you take it! So after meeting at the hair trial, Danielle and Owen just continued to swap reference photos until they reunited on the island for the wedding weekend.

From the beginning, Danielle had a very clear idea of what she wanted: “I loved the idea of slightly pulled back and feminine, with bridal hair accessories like a bowed creme ribbon and Dannijo pearl pins,” she says.

For both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding, Gould prepped Snyder’s damp hair with Oribe Supershine Light Moisturizing Cream. Once dry, he used Living Proof Flex Hairspray before curling. Then he finished with R+Co Death Valley Dry Shampoo to give it a beach-y texture. On Friday, two Dina clips were affixed into the bride’s dark hair along with a ribbon. And then on her wedding day, she wore the DannijoPippa hair comb for just the right amount of Victorian feeling romance. Follow her lead when planning your own old world-inspired, whimsical wedding look.
