A little over a week after actress Felicity Jones (Rogue One, The Theory of Everything) married her longtime boyfriend, director Charles Guard at Sudeley Castle in the Cotswolds in England, we finally have details on her look!
For her big day, the actress chose a classic dress by Erdem, the British designer she’s worn a few times already on the red carpet. The custom wedding gown felt traditional and looked right at home at their summer garden ceremony, with details such as a ruffled high neck silhouette, bone corseting, pearl buttons running down the front and back of the dress, and a grosgrain bow adorning the waist.
It was a lovely choice for the British actress’s IRL wedding, and the fact that her pick was on point should come as no surprise as her wedding dresses onscreen have also always been equally pretty. In The Theory of Everything, where she played Jane Wilde—the wife of Stephen Hawking—she donned a long-sleeved 60s inspired wedding gown. And in Like Crazy, the film about two star crossed lovers who are kept apart by U.S. immigration laws, she ties the knot to her long distance beau at City Hall wearing a simple strappy white dress.
