Andee sent me a text that read: “This dress embodies the essence of who I am. I’ve looked at it so much it’s following me!” She was of course referring to the fact that once you start stalking a dress, it starts stalking you—popping up everywhere from your Facebook feed to the advertisements in your browser’s right rail. I clicked the Neiman Marcus link on my phone and Alexis’s white crochet short sleeve midi dress popped up. Ironically, this was the very same dress I’d had minimized on my laptop for a week and a half. I stumbled upon it while googling white lace dresses (as I so often do) and quickly became obsessed. It’s reminiscent of Mollie Ruprecht’s gorgeous wedding day Valentino but also casual enough to wear to a farmer’s market—here it’s worn by blogger Rachel Parcell of Pink Peonies. Andee and I are both new to the brand, and admittedly, the price point is high—but if you’re not going to splurge on your wedding weekend wardrobe than when will you?
