One of the questions we get asked most frequently here at Over The Moon is where one should look for pretty flower girl dresses. We’ve fielded this Q so often that we even wrote a post about it way back when. Now, we’ve got an exciting update to that original list: Our favorite designers Laura Vassar Brock and Kristopher Brock of Brock Collection have teamed up with Vogue alums and children’s e-tailers Sylvana Ward Durrett and Luisana Mendoza Roccia of Maisonette to create a kids capsule collection for spring. Inspired by Brock Collection’s Spring 2018 RTW line, this limited edition marks Brock’s first move into childrenswear and includes six exclusive pieces: two shirts, two trousers, and two dresses. We, of course, have our eye on the adorable floral frocks, which we can already picture on cherub-looking flower girls and ring bearers at upcoming spring weddings.

We’ve always loved Laura and Kris’s story. They met as young design students at Parsons, fell for each other, and subsequently launched a collection together. A few years later, Laura was pregnant with their son Charlie, and the couple was hosting a surprise wedding marrying in Newport Beach. For the Brocks, creating a kids’ line felt like a very natural extension. As young parents, they understand that comfort is crucial when clothing kids—and what could be better when it comes to wedding wear. Our advice? Stock up early. The collection goes on sale today, and with a limited run, we expect these looks to go fast!
