It’s officially fall in New York City! The temperature is already dropping and school started today. We’re, of course, excited about everything the new season is set to bring, but we can’t help but give our favorite season one final shoutout via our favorite couple, ten time Grammy winner, John Legend, and Sports Illustrated cover model turned cookbook author and America’s funny girl, Chrissy Teigen. These two along with their one-year-old daughter, Luna, gave the Wade family a run for their money as the coolest parents of summer 2017. They traveled the world and documented every moment—just the way we like it. The trio started in Bali, made their way to Venice, and then wrapped things up on a yacht sailing around Corsica while little Luna stayed home with Teigen’s mother. Lucky for us, we were able to follow along via Teigen and Legend’s Instagrams.
It wouldn’t be a star studded vacation without the fashion moments to match—and the Tiegen/Legend family did not disappoint. In Bali, the family stripped down and spent most of the trip in leisurewear as they learned how to cook vegetarian meals and spent the afternoons practicing yoga and meditating. The couple dressed up in traditional Balinese attire for dinner on their last night: “Como Shambhala, my body and mind have never felt so clear,” Tiegen Instagrammed.
The family then jetted off to Lake Como and Venice to show baby Luna where her mom and dad tied the knot just a few years prior. There, they stepped out in looks we loved, with Teigen setting the stage in a birds-of-paradise jumpsuit complete with a plunging neckline and a matching green turban head-wrap to beat the Italian humidity. Later, the couple indulged in a date night with Teigen sporting a delicate gold hairpiece to accentuate her LBJ (little black jumpsuit) and Legend keeping it simple and classy in a tailored navy suit. It all was so on point, that it might be only us, but we’re already looking forward to summer 2018, just so we can see where this little fashionable family goes next!
