We’ve Fallen Hard For Hart Tassel Earrings

Processed with VSCO with f2 preset

Hart Hagerty and I go way back. Her sister, Gervais, and I grew up together in Charleston, S.C.—and even though Hart was younger, we were always in the same circles. Like Gervais and I, she attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, but unlike us, she majored in Mandarin. After college, Hart moved to Asia and embarked on the adventure of a lifetime, working as a fashion writer and trend consultant in Shanghai.

Inspired by her surroundings, she launched Hart jackets and vests, which are embellished with colorful Asian embroideries and truly one-of-a-kind, limited-edition, wearable works of art. They’ve been featured on Vogue.com as well as in a slew of magazines. And while I do love the jackets, they’re not the subject of today’s post.

Recently, Hart debuted a collection of tassel earrings that we at OTM have fallen hard for. They’re specially dyed and handmade in Shanghai in a series of custom colors that evoke the city they come from. We heart them because they’re showstoppers (you can’t wear them without getting compliments), and with so many different styles, they’re the perfect bridesmaid’s gift for each girl in your group. Plus, at $48, the price point is just right.
