Dubbed “Feast in the Field,” this editorial shoot by Alyssa Meeks Events and shot by Carly Butler Photography in July was created to showcase what an intimate elopement could look like in Jackson Hole—and we sure know that intimate wedding inspiration is in high demand right now. This project at Diamond Cross Ranch could also be evergreen for future couples imagining their rehearsal dinners and tented or outdoor receptions.

“Summer in Jackson Hole is the prime time to have your destination wedding,” Alyssa says. “It is when the Grand Tetons have snow-capped mountains still in your background and wild flowers in the foreground.” With that beautiful setting ready to go, Alyssa and Lily + Co. collaborated on an upscale garden look for the outdoor dinner set up. Linens were from La Tavola, and green accent plates and wicker flatware from The Avenue sat on top, while bistro lights, courtesy of Canvas Unlimited, were strung above.

As for fashion styling, they wanted a mix of summer dresses to complement the bride’s dress from Kleinfeld Bridal and sweeping veil.

“I hope people take away how beautiful it is to have an intimate affair, especially with the way weddings and events have now been changed due to COIVD,” Alyssa adds. “A wedding can be equally as meaningful whether it is large or small.”
