Kate Middleton Glows In a Floral Headpiece at Prince Louis’s Christening

On Monday, the royal family gathered for the christening of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s third child, Prince Louis, at St. James’s Palace in London. For the occasion, the Duchess of Cambridge chose her go-to designer for all of her major life events: Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. And while the custom dress looked quite similar to the McQueen ensemble she wore to Princess Charlotte’s baptism (both are white, long-sleeved designs), Kate managed to keep things interesting by pairing her dress with a floral Jane Taylor headpiece. The elegant raffia headband was a departure from Kate’s typically very classic fascinators and hats. With its retro vibe and delicate flowers, we wouldn’t be surprised if this kind of head band suddenly became the new flower crown for It-girl brides.
