It’s become a tradition for Lela Rose to show her bridal collections in New York’s dreamiest green spaces. This year’s spot? Jefferson Market Garden in the West Village. And really, what better location to showcase the always feminine, always upbeat dresses from this designer, whose popularity with modern brides only continues to grow?
Her signature sweetheart silhouettes and lace designs were on display once again, but this season, Rose took a risk and went with sharper tailoring, too, offering a number of deep-V neck décolletage options. For those more traditional brides, there was a lovely long-sleeved gown with a fresh square neckline that felt different, plus a sleek, strapless column number with an oversized organza bow that was inarguably one of the collection’s showstopper. As a delicate last touch, most of Lela Rose’s models wore a thin and long satin bow in their hair; a bridal accessory we’re betting will become a big trend this upcoming season.
