Sweet, fun, and flirty: those are just some of the words that come to mind after taking in Lela Rose’s new fall 2018 bridal line. Hosted in SoHo’s dreamy Elizabeth Street Garden, the collection presented 12 new dresses in classic silhouettes, but “reimagined for today’s bride.” That meant plenty of off-the-shoulder necklines—there wasn’t a single strapless dress in sight—Swiss dot prints, and designs in a chunky floral jacquard that felt fresh and modern. Standouts from the collection include a gorgeous, floor-length brocade cami dress, which seems made for a beachfront ceremony; and a two piece suit with a tied-sleeve peplum top and cigarette pants that is sure to appeal to the bride who wants to wear something outside of the box. The lovely petal ear adornments also caught our attention. Not only did they add a whimsical finishing touch, they also made us wonder: Are these accessories the new flower crowns?
