All I Need In This World O’ Sin . . . Is A Little White Dress

Forget the little black dress (LBD), the little white dress (LWD) is our jam. We practically live in this look. All. Summer. Long. Personal style icon Kate Middleton wore a slew of them last week.

First, the Duchess sported a white Catherine Walker dress with a colorful floral accent at the hem at Wimbledon while cheering on Roger Federer from the royal box at Wimbledon. Then, she broke out a fitted Alexander McQueen peplum skirt suit for her arrival in Poland. She followed this up with an edgy look by Polish designer Gosia Baczynska at a celebration birthday party in honor of Queen Elizabeth II.

We think it’s a sign. So if you’re in need of a wardrobe refresh to get you through the last month or so of summer, or you’re a newly engaged lady searching for outfits to wear to all of your wedding festivities, you really can’t go wrong with a LWD. Over The Moon bride Lauren Dickinson actually wore one on her big day, opting for an above-the-knee Dior frock for her ceremony and the luncheon to follow. We think she couldn’t have looked any chicer. Channel she and Ms. Middleton’s style, and check out our favorite ruffled, eyelet, and embroidered LWDs in the slideshow below.
