Naeem Khan’s Spring 2019 Embraced the Decadent Glamour of Rock ’n’ Roll

If you could imagine what a wedding between David Bowie and Bianca Jagger might look like, you’d probably conjure images of Naeem Khan’s spring 2019 bridal collection. For his latest line, the designer embraced the decadence and glamour of rock ’n’ roll in 22 looks that are not for the faint of heart.

That’s not to say the collection isn’t also beautiful, as Khan’s designs tend to be. His intricate beading skills are on full display, like in the one piece floral and pearl embroidered jumpsuit with a detachable tulle skirt, or the fringe and beaded white gown in zig-zag Art Deco shapes. And while this season Khan’s looks veered more towards a punk aesthetic (starting with the faux Mohawk hairstyle on his models), he still offered a little something for everyone, such as the head-to-toe feather sleeveless dress for those who love to be the center of attention, or the pretty, ankle-length tea dress for those tying the knot at a garden party, and a mini mirrored number for those brides who just want to spend the entire night dancing under a spinning disco ball.
