Our Top 10 Favorite Dresses from the 2019 Oscars

Oscars night is finally here and while the awards and acceptance speeches are great and all, let’s be serious, we’re here to talk about the fashion. This year, the red carpet was more vibrant than ever, with nominees and presenters stepping out in bright hues, unusual shapes, and dramatic gowns. Just look at Lady Gaga, nominated for her role in A Star Is Born, who channelled Audrey Hepburn by wearing opera-length black gloves with a strapless black Alexander McQueen dress and the exact same Tiffany & Co necklace Hepburn wore in the promotional pictures for Breakfast at Tiffany’s—it’s also one of the largest yellow diamonds in the world, no big deal. Below, we highlight Gaga and the other fabulously dressed women who wore our top ten favorite looks at the 2019 Oscars.
