What makes the perfect registry? Our Dream Registry series answers just that, providing an endless source of inspiration for those putting together their own Over The Moon registries. We enlisted the help of some of our most stylish and in-the-know friends—whether they’re single, engaged, or already married. (Because we’re taking a page from Carrie Bradshaw’s playbook and saying one should be able to register for Manolos no matter what their relationship status!) Peek inside the registries of tastemakers, from editors and stylists to wedding planners and beyond. Your dream registry is just a click away.

Writer and Vogue contributing editor Chloe Malle married Graham Albert on July 25th, 2015 at her family’s home in Le Lot region of France….and they never had a registry, so she gets to create her dream one now! “We only had 40 people at our wedding, and they had to travel a long way to get there, so we said no gifts,” Chloe remarks. “Also, we had been living together for years already, so it didn’t feel necessary. We did tell people that if they insisted on a gift, we would love anything from John Derian, so that became our de facto un-registry registry.”

As for her own aesthetic, Chloe describes it as “grandmillennial vibes by way of Jaipur—I never met a paisley or blockprint I didn’t like.” With that being said, it makes sense she gravitated towards D’Ascoli‘s block-printed linens and dresses. And she mentions she “would have loved to receive a Nine Fair backgammon board!”

Chloe also chose the Laguna B daisy glasses and pitcher, as it’s “just the happiest, prettiest glassware around—perfect for everyday or a dinner party.” And for the bedroom, the Hill House Home Chancery Snooze set is the perfect shade of blue and matches their wallpaper.

When asked to give any advice to engaged couples making their registries, Chloe says, “My favorite wedding gifts were things that I love and use but would never have bought for myself, so while I understand the impulse to register for a blender, I do think there is something to be said for registering for a set of plates you may not treat yourself to but will use and love. My stepsister got me a marbleized Astier de Villatte tea set that I would never have splurged on for myself and six years later use every morning for my coffee.”
