In a move befitting her future royal position, Meghan Markle apparently had a très quiet bachelorette party, or as the Brits call it, “a hen do,” this past weekend. Meghan reportedly spent a few days away treating her nearest and dearest friends to a luxury spa stay at an undisclosed location. (Although all signs point to the hen do having happened at Soho Farmhouse, a hotel in the Oxfordshire countryside, that the actress has frequently visited in the past.)

According to the Times of London, the guest list included designer Misha Nonoo, Harry’s childhood friend Violet von Westenholz (who supposedly played matchmaker to the couple), and Made in Chelsea actress Millie Mackintosh. Notably missing from the guest list was Meghan’s future sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, who as we all know is seven months pregnant, so can you really blame her? No word on whether this buttoned-up British bachelorette included any anatomy-shaped paraphernalia.
