What makes the perfect registry? Our Dream Registry series answers just that, providing an endless source of inspiration for those putting together their own Over The Moon Registries. We enlisted the help of some of our most stylish and in-the-know friends—whether they’re single, engaged, or already married. (Because we’re taking a page from Carrie Bradshaw’s playbook and saying one should be able to register for Manolos no matter what their relationship status!) Peek inside the registries of tastemakers, from editors and stylists to wedding planners and beyond. Your dream registry is just a click away.

A few years after Over The Moon Bride Olivia Ivey Bannock wed Jack Barrett in 2021 in the Adirondacks, the Los Angeles–based bridal stylist started developing Olivet—elegant, functional, and personalizable garment bags, designed to protect the best looks on the go. Olivet officially launched last month, and it’s found its home on Over The Moon! To celebrate, Olivia is sharing her Dream Registry—and it’s great timing since she’s currently in the process of designing her first home.

Olivia’s own aesthetic has always been rooted in color. “You’ll never find me in a home defined by beige or neutrals,” she states. “That said, I’m a bit of a chameleon. I love adapting my style to my environment. Whether it’s fashion or interiors, I like to express different moods depending on the space. Now that LA. is home, I’ve leaned into brighter hues and playful textures than I might have chosen in New York.”

The CEO is working with Beaudry Collier on the design of her home. “I’ve been a Pinterest girl since day one and brought plenty of inspiration to the table—but having Cassandra and her partner, Alex, translate my vision into something cohesive has been invaluable,” Olivia shares. “She immediately understood my love of color, texture, and honoring the home’s Spanish-style roots.”

For Olivia’s Dream Registry, it was all about beautiful yet functional kitchen upgrades. “Why settle for a plain colander when you can have a bright blue speckled one that turns a mundane event such as straining potatoes into something a bit more fun?” she muses. To pair with her light blue kitchen with yellow boucle dining chairs, Olivia added mix-and-match Pomelo Casa plates. “Honorable mention goes to Cabana’s green speckled serving plate—it’s a playful nod to my Canadian canoe-trip summers. Think tin cups, but we’ve graduated to the hand painted ceramic version.” And the Anna Weatherly teacups were the perfect addition to her collection of glassware.

The only exception to kitchen essentials would be the Olivet garment bags—especially the Bridal Bag. “We offer monogramming with your initials or wedding date, turning it into a forever keepsake,” Olivia states. “Most brides collect their gown in a branded cotton sack, but our poly-moiré fabric is both beautiful and functional—it elevates the experience and protects your dress from moths and dust during long-term storage. The Classic Bag is also the perfect plus-one for your wedding guest wardrobe. I designed it after constantly borrowing space in my husband’s garment bag—now I arrive with my dresses perfectly pressed in a bag that suggests there’s something magical inside.”

Olivia leaves us with first-hand advice for couples making their Over The Moon Registries: “When we created our registry in 2021, I tried to strike a balance between practical and playful. In hindsight, I wish I had leaned more into joyful, personality-filled pieces. Everyday white plates can be sourced anytime. The items I cherish most are the ones I bring out on special occasions. They are pieces that bring me back to our wedding weekend, which was one of the happiest times of my life. So my advice is, don’t be afraid of color, and don’t shy away from statement pieces. Joy belongs on the table.”
