What makes the perfect registry? Our Dream Registry series answers just that, providing an endless source of inspiration for those putting together their own Over The Moon Registries. We enlisted the help of some of our most stylish and in-the-know friends—whether they’re single, engaged, or already married. (Because we’re taking a page from Carrie Bradshaw’s playbook and saying one should be able to register for Manolos no matter what their relationship status!) Peek inside the registries of tastemakers, from editors and stylists to wedding planners and beyond. Your dream registry is just a click away.

Hill House Home Design Director Sara Worth Mullally and Alexander Reckford technically first met in middle school. However, it wasn’t until their senior year of high school, when they began a romantic relationship. “He was my prom date!” Sara exclaims. Fast forward to the present, and the pair are planning for an October wedding at the Cathedral of St. Philip, followed by a reception at The Capital City Club in Atlanta. Ahead of walking down the aisle, New York–based Sara is sharing her Over The Moon Dream Registry picks with us.

“I love color and prints; my least favorite color is black,” the bride-to-be says of her own aesthetic. “I’m super girly and love a ton of accessories and layers. I love to mix masculine and old school prep in. I’m also an Anglophile and feel like in New York people think I am very ‘Southern,’ which I take as a compliment.” As for her interior design style, Sara’s family shaped her decorating process quite a bit. “My mother taught me to find beauty in so many things, like pressing leaves from our yard and framing them and starting personal collections that make a room feel complete. My mom and aunt have always been super encouraging of my love of interiors, always taking me to antique markets and looping me into their projects. I actually have tons of pieces that I have collected or inherited over the years.”

Aside from her family’s influences, Sara finds interiors inspiration from Americana-esque designers. “I am a proud worshipper of Parish-Hadley Tree of Life. I love Bunny Williams, Miles Redd, the lot!” she exclaims. “In college I had the opportunity to intern for Miles which was fabulous!”

And when it comes to merging her and Alex’s styles together, Sara gives us the perfect example of their harmony: “I added boullion fringe to his sofa.”

For Sara’s Dream Registry, she focused on entertaining. “I love to cook and have been waiting to get a fab Le Creuset Dutch Oven. I love the classic color flame,” she shares. “I’m so excited to add to my china collection with these fab Ginori plates; I can’t wait to mix and match with other motifs, like their emerald greek key pattern.” And lastly, “Salisbury cups are so great for either entertaining or a chic container to hold pens, remote controls, etc. Bonus points if you monogram them!”

The design director leaves us with key advice for others creating their Over The Moon Registries: “Think about your personal style—and if you feel like you don’t know, I guess look at your closet! People always tell me my apartment matches me, and I think it is because I approach dressing my home and myself the same way!”
