As a mother of a bride, you want to make sure you strike the right balance—standing out from the rest of the crowd, while obviously being careful not to steal the spotlight away from your daughter. Try something in a soothing yet eye-catching shade (we personally think you can never go wrong with blue), or go for printed florals in elegant brocade fabrics. The goal is to play off bridal themes (lace, romanticism, “something blue”), so that it’s clear you’re also part of the main event.
