Andee Olson, the VP of operations at Obsess, and Barney Ruprecht, partner and senior car specialist at Broad Arrow Group, are a Bumble Success Story. Andee used to work at the dating app and used Bumble’s paid feature to allow more potential matches to connect with her outside of her distance range. “For anyone who is on the fence about paying for Bumble Boost, it works!” she exclaims.
After a year together, Barney proposed at their New York City apartment on a quiet Sunday morning with a Simon Teakle emerald-cut ring. The two are getting married at The Clifton Inn in Charlottesville, Virginia, on April 29, 2023. “I am from Virginia and went to the University of Virginia, and he has spent time there for work over the years, plus it is one of the first places we traveled to together!” Andee says. The bride-to-be created an Over The Moon registry and has expanded upon it to share for her Dream Registry.
Andee describes her aesthetic as “simple and classic with fun and colorful accents.” She gets a lot of interior inspiration from Instagram and currently loves to follow @arielokin, @lilsemckenna, @
For her Dream Registry, Andee had to have her Cabana plates, which she’s already received from her real registry. She also wants the Bordallo Pinheiro oval cabbage platter. “I went to Portugal last summer with my family and fell in love with Bordallo Pinheiro but was too nervous to bring any back in my luggage, so I knew that I would definitely include some on our registry!” she exclaims.
Moving on from the dining room to the kitchen, Andee added the Staub baking dish set. “I had two similar baking dishes from my grandmother, who passed away many years go, but in our recent move, both of them broke, and I was devastated!” Andee recalls. “I found these on Over The Moon, and they immediately reminded me of them, so now I’ll still think about her every time I use them.”
“When we first started our registry, a friend told us to register for things that are practical that we will use, but also not to be afraid to add items that are outside of what we would buy ourselves,” Andee says. “I feel like we have listened to that advice and am very happy with the assortment we put together. I know that some of these items we will use right away when we cook together, and some will get less frequent use but we will have for many years to come.”
