Wedding planner Augusta Cole has heard her fair share of meet-cutes, and many are from couples that found love by swiping right on Bumble. Over the years, Bumble has heard from thousands of Success Stories who reach out in hopes of incorporating their digital matchmaker in a meaningful way, from the proposal to the actual wedding day. It was only a matter of time before the app came up with the idea to curate a Wedding & Celebrations collection, including exclusive items created with Over The Moon, like a hand-painted porcelain ring dish to display on your bedside table.

Just ask Andee Olson and Barney Ruprecht, another Bumble Success Story, who have already opted to include the limited edition Bumble x Over The Moon monogrammed tote on their Dream Registry. As a former employee of the dating app, Andee used Bumble’s paid feature, which opened up the door to more potential matches to connect with eligible bachelors outside her distance range. According to Andee: “For anyone who is on the fence about paying for Bumble Boost, it works!”

With the Bumble collection, engaged couples can spread the love with their nearest and dearest in the lead-up to and on the big day. Because as Cole says: “You can throw the prettiest reception, have perfect place settings, the most insane florals, and the sickest band, but if the energy of the couple isn’t felt in the room, there is an obvious vacancy at the wedding.”

Adds Cole: “Once you’ve accepted an invitation to a wedding, you’ve signed up to be a part of the most momentous occasion in their life together. When the couple opens up, people walk away with a deeper appreciation for the experience that they had. The little mementos or nods that further the messaging will make people feel more like a part of a couple’s story.”

And remember to just have fun. “We always tell our clients that we’ve done the planning, and now it’s up to you to bring the energy and joy,” Cole says. “From staying on the dance floor with guests to giving speeches that have connectivity and meaning, it all comes down to reminding others why it is that everyone is gathered there together on their wedding day.”

Below, Cole shares expert advice on how to incorporate a few of her favorites from the Bumble collection.

Bumble x Over The Moon tote bag

“Every bride needs a bag to hold all of those treasured keepsakes from their wedding day,” Cole explains. “It’s where the maid-of-honor, planner, or thoughtful friend collects the little things that otherwise could easily get left behind. ” (Think: the dinner menu, place cards, ceremony program, personalized cocktail napkin, wedding veil, a change of shoes, and more.) Consider a tote embroidered with the bride’s married initial and a Bumble motif that will carry the same sentimental value.

Disposable camera

With Polaroids and all things from the ’90s making a comeback, everybody wants instant film at their reception,” Cole says.” Not only are they on-trend, but the white finish will also blend in seamlessly no matter what your wedding aesthetic.”

Limited Edition: Bumble x Over The Moon ring dish

“A ring dish is a great bridesmaid proposal gift to surprise and delight the ladies in your life who have always been your rock,” Cole says. With something this pretty, it’s all but guaranteed to prompt an enthusiastic “yes” to bridesmaid duty.

Champagne flutes, set of 2

A set of Champagne flutes inscribed with the phrase “cheers to making moves” calls for the finest bottle of bubbly, whether during the bachelorette weekend or at the engagement party. Save the traditional stemware for the wedding, Cole says.

Cocktail/dinner napkin, pack of 25

Take it from Cole: “You can never have enough cure cocktail napkins.” Adding: “I’m here for the love.”

Favor bags, set of 10

Instead of a Bumble-themed wedding or adjacent event, Cole suggests a less-is-more approach. “A nod to how you and your significant other met can feel just as meaningful.” For example, Bumble party favors will make a subtle yet sweet statement.

Ribbon set

Tie the party favors with ribbons in a pitch-perfect shade of Bumble-yellow and white. “Look at it as little winks,” Cole says.

Bubbles, set of 20

When it comes to the final send-off, “many venues don’t allow sparklers.” Bubbles, Cole says “are an effervescent, visually effective, bio-safe alternative.” Playful and good for the planet? Consider us sold.
