Chloe Glen Rosenfeld and Steven Frederick Goldstein met in their freshman dorm meeting at the University of Colorado. Their friendship blossomed into a relationship, and after six years of dating, he proposed after a family friend’s wedding in Miami. “After the wedding, we ordered room service—which we do after every party— and Steven proposed!” Chloe remembers.

When they went to the Belmond El Encanto, the couple knew it was their venue and wanted their wedding to have the same feel as the hotel: “lush, natural, and beautiful.” To help plan and design their late summer wedding in Southern California, they hired Bash Please.

The bride originally chose an Ines Di Santo gown, and when Chloe returned to the bridal salon, she saw a newer version of the one she had chosen. Once she tried it on, that was it. She paired the dress with her mother’s cathedral-length veil, which her sister will also wear on her own day, and Aquazzura shoes.

Steven wore a custom tuxedo by Waraire Boswell with a Tom Ford bow tie and Salvatore Ferragamo shoes. The bridesmaids each chose a V. Chapman nude or blush dress, and Choe’s sister and maid of honor wore a silk Galvan look. The smallest attendants, the flower girls and ring bearers, wore Luna Luna tulle dresses and tuxedos with Paul Smith shoes.

On top of the Belmond El Encanto’s pool, Chloe walked down the aisle to a floral chuppah, created by Honey & Poppies. There, their rabbi led a warm and intimate ceremony. Once they shared their first kiss as a married couple, everyone headed inside to start the reception.

The scene was decorated in an opulent, California-chic aesthetic. Florals hung overhead and the custom circular bar was adorned with baby’s breath. “The feeling of walking into a stunning space that had been totally transformed as Mr. and Mrs. Goldstein was amazing,” Chloe says.

The couple took to the dance floor for their first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Haley Reinhart, and then the party was back in full swing. For the after-party, the bride changed into a Retrofête dress and Jordans. As the night winded down, custom pizza boxes were available for guests to take back to their rooms
