Youtuber and Blanq Media Co-Founder Jack Maynard had just moved into a new apartment building, when he passed his new neighbor Lily-Ella Mackie outside. “I didn’t think much of it until later that evening. We met a few hours later, and I realized he moved into the flat directly opposite mine,” Lily-Ella shares. “He asked me for a drink, I said no thank you but that he could join my friends instead . . . we became best friends and a month later started dating!”

After four years together, Jack proposed on the beach near her parents’ home, and once engaged, they started planning a wedding in the South of France. To bring their vision to life, the couple enlisted the help of Over The Moon The List Planner White Eden Weddings, and Over The Moon Directory Photographers of Ratta Studio and videographer Matteo Castelluccia captured every moment.

Jack actually found the venue, Château Saint-Martin, and Lily-Ella knew she’d always wanted a timeless wedding aesthetic. She was also sure she’d wear Vivienne Westwood down the aisle. “The couture team helped me create and visualize a classic capsule wardrobe. Lace was the starting point and then we played with different silhouettes for the three looks,” she shares. “It ended up being an eight-piece bespoke couture wardrobe across the wedding weekend!”

On the day-of, Lily-Ella got ready with hairstylist Trine Juel and makeup artist Alesandra Macsim, who gave her a natural, yet photo-friendly, glam look. The bride then accessorized with gifted diamond earrings that had stones from her mother’s engagement ring and a tennis bracelet from her groom. Jack wore bespoke Suitsupply and changed for the reception.

On May 15, 2025, Lily-Ella walked down the aisle with her father. Then, her mother removed her blusher and her grandmother held her bouquet. At the floral-adorned altar by Lettre à Elise, Jack’s best friend, Josh, official the ceremony. And during the service, the bride’s mother performed a reading and recited a letter she’d written to Jack. “It was both humorous but also deeply moving,” Lily-Ella shares.

After the bride and groom were announced as officially married, they entered their reception glass marquee from PBI Event Architecture and went straight into a first dance to “Sweet” by Majid Jordan with a band from ALR Music. Tarte Tropezienne marked the end of the evening, before dancing took over in the chateau. “Having all of our closest friends and family in one room was the biggest highlight of the evening,” Lily-Ella concludes. “I hadn’t anticipated how moving it would be to have generations of families and friends sharing in a moment that would define the rest of our lives.”
