Italian lawyers Luigi Testa and Luigia Sproviero met by chance, when they were 18 years old at a nightclub in their hometown of Cosenza. They then kept running into each other, until they went on their first date. After eleven years of dating, he proposed while in Le Marais district in Paris, while it was lightly snowing.
To say “I do,” the two picked Ibiza, as it’s always been a place where they feel at home. The night before the wedding, the couple hosted a welcome party at the beach club, Elements Ibiza, where Luiga wore a white suit that she designed herself. And for their post-beach reception, they booked the waterfront restaurant and club, La Escollera. To help design and plan everything, they hired Artiparty.
For their wedding day, the bride and groom wore custom outfits by Dr. D’Elia, who owns a historic atelier in Cosenza. Then they headed down to the beach for the ceremony on the sand. The intimate service was officiated by two of the couple’s best friends, who hadn’t shared their plans beforehand, so the inclusion of family and friends throughout were magical surprises.
After the first kiss as husband and wife, everyone headed to La Escollera for a paella dinner that was based off of the day’s catch. Once the sun set, a percussion band started the party, and then the newlyweds had their first dance to “Parlami d’Amore Mariù” by Tino Rossi.
The celebration continued until the club closed. The DJ kept everyone dancing through the late night to the early morning; he was Italian and had moved to Ibiza, and he curated the track list beforehand with Luiga and Luigi to insure everyone wouldn’t leave the dance floor.
After their day came to a close, the just married couple took a road trip through Provence and the French Riviera.
