Olympic gold medalist volleyball player Timothée Carle was on Instagram when a picture of model Pricilla Klein popped up on his explore page and he liked it. That notified Pricilla, and she—like any modern woman would—liked a few of his photos back. Mutual follows followed, and finally Timothée asked Pricilla on a date.

After nearly four years together, Timothée proposed in his home country of France. He had planned a romantic sunset dinner on a sailboat in Marseille, but strong winds kept them docked. He couldn’t reschedule because he’d invited her family from Germany and his friends from Paris. “As soon as we stepped on the boat, he got so excited that he proposed almost immediately,” Pricilla smiles. After saying yes, they then celebrated seaside with everyone.

Since the pair got engaged on a sailboat, they wanted to wed close to the water too. Castel Bay in Hyères, not far from where Timothée was born, was the perfect venue. “We were really inspired by Sofia Richie’s wedding in the South of France: elegant, effortless, and very natural,” Pricilla shares. “But we also wanted that Provençal touch, which comes through in the lemons we’re incorporating into the décor. Our color palette is inspired by the sea and by where we come from. Blue, green, and yellow also reflect the Brazilian flag, which is a quiet tribute to my roots.”

On the day-of, Pricilla got ready in a slip dress and robe by Kat The Label, as Nike applied her glowing makeup. Bridesmaids matched in periwinkle looks, acting as her “something blue.” Then, she put on Milla Nova’s Belen Dress with Costum Skirt, paired with a cathedral-length veil and Jimmy Choos.

As a 6’7” volleyball player, Timothée had to go the custom route for his tuxedo. “His inspiration was a classic Tom Ford tuxedo, very timeless and elegant,” Pricilla explains.

On May 28, 2025, Pricilla walked down the aisle with her brother to “Canon in D,” a song she’d always imagined would play at that moment. During the Christian ceremony, the couple exchanged personal vows. “I even saw Timothée cry as I walked in and again during our vows,” the bride recalls. “It was actually the first time I’d ever seen him cry.”

The party kicked off with an Aperol Spritz tower, and guests took their seats at tables decorated with pastel florals by Nicole Fleurs. Then, the wedding party made their grand entrance to “Volare,” as guests waved blue silk scarves. Photographer Tatiana Huber of AISLEGLAM and videographer Jaqcine were there to lens every moment.

The delicious dinner by Maison Nans concluded with an oversized pavlova. And then XY Music started playing, even including a few Brazilian songs. At one point, three of Pricilla’s close friends, who are all professional singers, each sang a song. “Their voices were phenomenal and their performances added such a special and emotional touch to the evening,” the bride reminisces.

The newlyweds had two first dances. The initial was to “Until I Found You” by Stephen Sanchez, after the main course. Stephen was the first concert the pair saw live. After dinner, Pricilla changed into Milla Nova’s Askania mini dress for the second dance to “Sway” by Michael Bublé. “This one was choreographed, with lifts, and it officially opened the dance floor for the night,” she shares. “We couldn’t decide whether to have our first dance in my long, beautiful gown to our personal song or to start the party with something upbeat, so we decided to do both.”

Once the party ended, the couple made sure to talk to as many guests as possible before making their way back to the hotel, where they spent their mini-moon.
