It’s New Year’s Eve, and we’re in a reminiscing kind of mood. The 2010s will go down in history for a multitude of reasons— big celebrity weddings being one of them. We were even lucky enough to get at least three British Royal weddings in the last decade. Here are just a few of our favorite and most memorable walks down the aisle, in chronological order!

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky
Chelsea Clinton married Marc Mezvinsky in a custom-made Vera Wang dress. Their inter-faith ceremony was performed by a rabbi and a reverend. Guests like Madeleine Albright, Obama, and Oprah Winfrey enjoyed the catered St. Regis Hotel dinner and 500-pound vegan wedding cake, and Bryan Rafanelli planned the whole event.

Prince William and Kate Middleton
The first major royal wedding of the decade! The event included sports cars, traditional fruitcake, and a floral budget of an estimated $1 million. To quote Prince Harry on this day, “Wait until you see her.” We are still thinking about Kate’s gorgeous long-sleeved Alexander McQueen dress designed by Sarah Burton. Also, did you know Kate did her own makeup?

Kate Moss and Jamie Hince
2011 was a year for the Kates! Kate Moss married Jamie Hince in an ephemeral English wedding. She called her wedding style “Rock ‘n Roll, Great Gatsby,” and we’re sure you’ll agree when you revisit the photos. Out of the 138 guests in attendance, 39 of those guests were children.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel
No comment on JT’s recent hand-holding fiasco. Instead, let’s talk about the couple’s beautiful Italian wedding. Jessica wore a pretty-in-pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown, while Justin donned a Tom Ford suit.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend
While looking for their venue, the couple wanted something that was “rustic-chic, elegant-but-not-too-glossy” and decided on Lake Como. They hired Lisa Vorce as their planner and even designed a crest for the wedding’s program and rose petal sachets. The reception included a four-tiered naked carrot cake and Teigen had two outfit changes.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian
Kim and Kanye had a weekend-long celebration that started in Paris and ended in Florence. Kanye surprised Kim by having Andrea Bocelli perform during the ceremony. John Legend sang “All of Me” for the couple’s first dance later in the evening—for a while, this wedding, pulled off by Sharon Sacks, was all anyone was talking about.

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka
Another major celebrity wedding in Italy! How I Met Your Mother’s director Pamela Fryman officiated the wedding. The couple’s twin children, Harper and Gideon, were included in the event as well. Kelly Ripa said that Gideon, 4, wanted to be an “orange boy,” not the ring bearer. Instead of holding his parents’ rings, he passed oranges to wedding guests as he walked down the aisle.

The English venue (Peckforton Castle) is almost as famous as the couple themselves and serves as a location site for Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes. Mindy Weiss planned the entire event, and after dinner, Earth, Wind, & Fire performed for guests.

Pippa Middleton and James Matthews
2017 was the year Kate’s sister Pippa became a bride! Her gown shared a few resemblances to her sister’s, but Pippa opted for capped sleeves on her Giles Deacon dress. Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince Harry were all in attendance. Prince Harry’s then-girlfriend Meghan Markle did not attend the ceremony but was present at the reception.

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian
Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian’s New Orleans wedding was Beauty and the Beast-inspired and her Alexander McQueen ball gown, designed by Sarah Burton, was stunning. Planner Jennifer Zabinski took the time to get to know the tennis star through the whole process to create a truly beautiful day.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
This royal wedding was groundbreaking in so many ways. Prince Harry married the bi-racial, divorced, American actress, Meghan Markle, in a stunning May wedding. Meghan looked beautiful in her custom Givenchy dress and loaned bandeau tiara. The 600-person guest list reflected the international, artistic, and philanthropic nature of the couple.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas
The celebrity couple’s elaborate three-day wedding reflected both their cultures and upbringings. They were married in Christian and Hindu ceremonies in India, and all the other Jonas Brothers were in attendance.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank
Princess Eugenie chose an emerald tiara and earrings for her “something green.” The groom put on his glasses while Eugenie walked down the aisle, just so he could see her! A favorite detail of the wedding? The pageboys’ and bridesmaids’ sashes. The print is an art piece by American artist Mark Bradford.
