For the past five years, we’ve been curating beautiful real weddings and gorgeous must-have pieces that make us swoon. Today, we’ve majorly expanded our assortment of exclusive and customizable products from tried and true brands, collections by designers we love and believe in, one-of-a-kind finds from niche artisans, and collaborations that embody the OTM aesthetic. It’s the perfect marriage of content and commerce, we think!
In 2015, founder and Vogue.com contributing editor Alexandra Macon started this blog as a resource for wedding and event planning through a fashion lens with an eye towards the real, authentic, candid moments at weddings—not the staged, over-the-top imagery that so often was the focus. Now, due to the COVID-19 crisis, many couples are choosing to have intimate backyard ceremonies, and that initial inspiration for the site feels more important than ever. And those real weddings aren’t going anywhere—we still love and will continue to bring constant inspiration for couples planning their own celebrations.
As for the e-commerce launch, we teamed up with Emilie Ghilaga, a former buyer at Moda Operandi, to elevate the product offerings. Currently, with a roster of more than 100 brands, we carry products with an heirloom quality and impeccable craftsmanship—think tabletop items, ready-to-wear, and exclusive gifts from Le Creuset, Laboratorio Paracivini, Danielle Frankel, Edie Parker, Sleeper, Stephanie Fishwick, Oomph Home, Paravel, Barbara Tfank, and more that readers can seamlessly shop from editorial features.
One of our favorite parts of the new site is the Monogram Shop, where the emphasis on personalization speaks to the kinds of timeless, forever pieces people want to gift now, and the season-less approach to fashion reflects how we all should be shopping.
