Which Jonas Bride Are You?

By Shayna Seid

In anticipation of Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’s French château wedding happening tonight, we could’t help but think back to all of the Jonas brother weddings that have come before. And while, when it comes to weddings, each Jonas brother has a style, we appreciate the looks the Jonas sisters serve even more, which then begs the question: Which Jonas bride are you?

Are you more of a traditionalist like Danielle Jonas, a glam bride like Priyanka Chopra, or youthful, spur-of-the-moment, and fun like Sophie Turner? Find out below via our detailed guide!

Danielle Jonas

Venue: Score! You’re the first one getting married, which means you set the standards, and you’re going the more traditional route. Not even a winter snowstorm could ruin your romantic castle wedding.

Dress: You want a dress fit for a princess because that’s how your whirlwind romance with Kevin has made you feel thus far. A strapless Vera Wang Chantilly lace and tulle gown is the only option, in your opinion.

Bling: No doubt your sweet hubby had his hand in designing your cushion cut diamond ring, but as time goes on, you find yourself switching it up with a larger square-shaped diamond and finally, a pear-shaped stone. It’s not that you didn’t love the first one, you just wanted subtle upgrades.

Venue: As an international beauty icon you need more than one ceremony to properly cover all cultural (and fan) bases. With two families from different religious backgrounds coming together, two events feel necessary. You’ll host an intimate one for his side, and your side will come in swinging hard with an impressive 400 guests! Then to honor an elder relative, a stateside reception will complete your string of non-stop festivities. Just when people think the celebration is finally over, one more party is sure to pop up!

Dress: For your first trip down the aisle, you’ll choose a contemporary but modest dress by a designer (Ralph Lauren) who has sentimental value to you and your fiancé—and for the extra in you, your train won’t be any shorter than 75 feet. Because you may not have originally envisioned yourself in a white gown, your other religious ceremony requires a colorful, traditional look, but that doesn’t mean you won’t sparkle.

Bling: You value your privacy and love romantic, grand gestures, which is why you chose your engagement ring in a Sweet Home Alabama moment when Nick shut down Tiffany & Co. for you. A high quality cushion cut will do the trick perfectly. And nothing less for your wedding band too. Something from Chopard with ashoka-cut diamonds and set in platinum sounds about right.

Venue: You’ve had an eventful life at a young age, and it’s matured you but also taught you that life is too short not to have some fun along the way, so why not have a last-minute civil service in Vegas? You’ve already planned a more glamorous affair in Europe after all, which means you need a marriage license anyway—so why not make it memorable? You know what they say . . . What happens in Vegas, doesn’t stay in Vegas if Diplo has phone battery and good cell service. For your summer French château soirées, things will be more traditional, but fun fashion is still expected at every dinner and party.

Dress: Since you got hitched last-minute, you didn’t have ample time to find something, but you’re a modern bride who jumps into things, so a low-neck jumpsuit with a veil fits the occasion perfectly. For your trip down the aisle in France, you’ll look classically beautiful and elegant in a long gown with lace sleeves and a low-back, obviously designed by by someone you trust with your day-to-day looks as well (Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton).

people expect a beautiful, long dress with an outfit change for the after-party—you’ll need the look to be able to withstand a long night of dancing.

Bling: In sin city, you exchanged Ring Pops, while Elvis marries you. Of course, this was after you already received a classically stunning pear-shaped ring. Sweet and sophisticated—talk about the best of both worlds!
