Bachelorette Party Looks for Every Spring Break Destination

By Shayna Seid

The temperatures are rising . . . finally! (New York is seeing numbers in the 50s today.) And with that comes thoughts of spring break destinations with the girls. For bachelorette parties, St. Barth’s, Hudson, Puerto Vallarta, and Ojai immediately sprung to mind. But what to wear? Mytheresa is one of our favorite online shopping destinations for brides and their bridesmaids, so we teamed up with the luxury retailer to bring you an array of ensembles that will work for all of our favorite locales. A Paco Rabanne dress for St. Barth’s? Oui oui! A Boyy bag in Hudson? Yes, please! Plus, embellished Alessandra Rich heart earrings in Puerto Vallarta, and LoveShackFancy frocks in Ojai—I mean, what more could you need? Below our dream bachelorette party packing lists. Enjoy!

St. Barth’s

Need a taste of the South of France without the transatlantic flight? St. Barth’s it is! This Caribbean island has already played host to at least one fabulous OTM bachelorette party, and we don’t foresee this idyllic destination feeling played out when it comes to hen dos, destination weddings, or honeymoons anytime soon. And thankfully, we’ve got your packing list sorted! Lounge at the pool or on a boat cruise in the perfect bridal Marysia bikini, go shopping at cute water-front boutiques in Copenhagen’s it-girl brand Cecilie Bahnsen, and party like there’s no tomorrow at Bagatelle in an embellished Paco Rabanne showstopper!

You heard it here first: This spring, Hudson, New York, is the destination for an intimate bachelorette party with your girls. We already know Hudson brings in people for weddings, but a quiet weekend outside of the city while the weather eases up sounds like the ticket, too. Stay at boutique hotel The Wick and spend your days wandering around all of the galleries, shops, and restaurants the area has to offer.

Puerto Vallarta

In the mood for tequila and tacos? Head to Puerto Vallarta on Mexico’s Pacific Coast. Check into luxury boutique hotel Casa Velas and zip to their beach club for some rest and relaxation. Want a wilder scene? Put on a sequined mini skirt and go to the downtown area and dance the night away while the waves crash on the beach right in front of you. “California . . . knows how to party . . . ” and how to host a perfect bachelorette party. From L.A. to Napa, there’s really no going wrong in this state—there’s just something about the beach, good weather, and lots of rosé. An underrated, but highly recommended, spot is Ojai, where this bride-to-be hosted a fully-styled photo shoot with her crew at an Instagram-worthy hotel. For wine tasting, we’d definitely wear the yellow floral Zimmermann look. And for the beach? Nothing says Cali like tie-dye—check out the LoveShackFancy minidress below!
