The Best Bridal Looks From Paris Fashion Week

By Patricia Garcia

Paris Fashion Week wrapped up today in the City of Light and our eyes were, as always, on the best runway looks that could be translated into bridal dresses. While this fall 2018 season was predominately awash in darker shades, there were a few standouts we could envision floating down the aisle. At Stella McCartney, there were two white lace looks paired with sneakers that seemed to be made for the no-fuss bride who wants to feel comfortable yet fashion forward on her big day. At Elie Saab, a delicate blush cocktail dress with a rose colored fur bolero would be a chic look for a daytime autumn wedding. Meanwhile Johanna Ortiz continues to prove she’s a master at silhouettes with a flirty yet sophisticated one shoulder silk gown that would be a no brainer for a bride if it came in an ivory hue. Same goes for a strapless column dress at Valentino, which made us swoon in bright red but would look equally dreamy in bridal white. Meanwhile, unconventional brides will probably fall for a gauzy, blush Valentino gown with an asymmetrical caplet, and those bold ladies who dare marry in black (hey, Sarah Jessica Parker did it!) should take a look at this classic lace Chanel dress—it makes a strong case for why a shouldered bow is never a bad idea!
