What makes the perfect registry? Our Dream Registry series answers just that, providing an endless source of inspiration for those putting together their own Over The Moon registries. We enlisted the help of some of our most stylish and in-the-know friends—whether they’re single, engaged, or already married. (Because we’re taking a page from Carrie Bradshaw’s playbook and saying one should be able to register for Manolos no matter what their relationship status!) Peek inside the registries of tastemakers, from editors and stylists to wedding planners and beyond. Your dream registry is just a click away.

The New Year brings a sense of confidence that may have been lacking last month, and as we look ahead to Valentine’s Day, it’s the perfect time to invest in ourselvesand our lingerie wardrobes. And who better to inspire us than Fleur du Mal founder and CEO Jennifer Zuccarini?

The luxury lingerie brand founder married media executive and strategist Edward Menicheschi on May 11, 2013, in an intimate ceremony at Le Sereno Hotel in St Barths. And because they both felt like they already had everything they needed, the couple kept their wedding registry rather small.

Jennifer is quick to admit that she wishes our Jean Dubost Laguiole flatware ended up on her original list. “When you get married a bit later, the registry is more about special items and less about necessities,” she says. “One of my favorite [gifts] was a set of Versace Butterfly plates. I love to look at them, but I don’t actually use them very often!”

Today, the New York–based CEO describes her aesthetic as “’70s glam meets modern, whimsical, and colorful.” “l enjoy sourcing vintage items and furniture but also discovering new designers,” she says. “Last year, we purchased this beautiful sofa called ‘Heartbreaker,’ designed by Johannes Torpe for Moroso, in pale blue. It really makes our whole living area.” Her coffee table is a Paul Evans Cityscape piece from the late ’70s that she purchased at an auction. Jennifer also turns to plants to fill a room. “I love having greenery around.”

She looks to “the sensual aesthetic of Carlo Mollino, Gabriella Crespi, and Milo Baughman” for design inspiration.  And luckily, she and her husband are almost always aligned taste-wise; however, she admits her “style is probably a bit more over the top” than his. “I like taking risks and having some bold pieces, whereas my husband’s taste is more classically modern.”

Jennifer’s Dream Registry is all about being comfortable, elegant, and cozy at home. She added the Shagreen Poker Set, as it’s too chic to ignore, and she didn’t have anything like it. Her favorite Fleur robe, the Haori Kimono, also made the list. It doubles as a chic coverup or evening wrap, and it’s perfect for a honeymoon. One of the must-have items from her original registry is a cashmere blanket, so she couldn’t help but include the Butterfly Trellis Blanket on her Dream Registry.

Jennifer leaves us with this sage advice for engaged couples making their registries for the first time: “Try to keep it fun and not a source of additional wedding stress. If you can’t agree, split the list and each pick for your favorite categories.” Adding: “If your partner is not into choosing flatware or whatever else, don’t force them into it.”
