Hill House Home founder and CEO Nell Diamond married Teddy Wasserman in a fantastic wedding at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc seven years ago, and today, her company—famous for crisp, elegant linens and the internet-famous Nap Dress—has launched its first-ever bridal collection. Inspired by the little moments that surround one’s big day, the offering includes comfy apparel and chic accessories, ideal for brides and bridal parties alike.
Give your girls the Margot Bows in blue and take a white one for yourself—perfect for bridal showers, bachelorettes, or bridesmaids’ beauty looks. Need a little more bling, grab the Noor Headband for a sparkling bridal hair accessory. And the Nima Robe in navy and white are elegant and flirty options for getting ready on the ceremony morning or girls’ spa weekends.
The Jewel Jammie, which comes in white, black, and navy, is one of the most versatile looks in the collection. The pants are incredibly flattering, and the top can be worn with jeans or a skirt. “The jewels are insane in person—it’s hard to do them justice in a photo. You literally sparkle when you walk!” Diamond exclaims. “For a bachelorette, I love the idea of the bride in the white and the bridal party in the black. The entire bridal party getting ready for the big day in the white version is also so cute. I’m also obsessed with the idea of a bride wearing the black version to a wedding after-party with an amazing platform heel.” Like we said, the options are endless!
On the topic of bridal, we had to bring up Diamond’s epic wedding dress. With only around seven months to plan her fall nuptials, Diamond’s close friend and designer Olivier Theyskens quickly sketched a possible bridal gown over tea at The Standard Hotel. “He knew I wanted lots of drama, a long train, and a real waist moment,” the bride explains.
She had two fittings in Paris, and the second one was particularly emotional. “My mom had just been diagnosed with breast cancer, and she needed radiation 5x/week in New York City. I couldn’t imagine fitting the dress without her, so we organized the quickest and most efficient trip possible to visit Olivier’s atelier. That moment was so important to me, trying on my dress with my mom—and I’m happy to report that six years later she is cancer-free.”
And fun fact—Diamond’s own getting ready look was one of the reasons’s she was “desperate to launch” a bridal collection. “My wedding dress was strapless, so I didn’t want lines on my shoulders from anything I wore getting ready, and I obviously needed something I could easily take off without ruining my hair and makeup. I think I ended up wearing a cardigan I’ve had for years with pajama shorts. As a result of my haphazard look, I don’t love the getting ready photos!” she admits. “I knew when we launched the Hill House Bridal collection, I wanted pieces that were both beautiful and practical—comfortable and easy to remove without ruining your glam!”
