When Hayley Bloomingdale tied the knot in Santa Barbara, her Jessica McCormack ring was custom designed by her now-husband, Alexander Stileman, who had been guided to the luxury London-based jewelry designer by Hayley’s friends. “He had a clear vision in mind for my ring,” Hayley says of the Art Deco–inspired emerald-cut style, which features three diamonds on a classic gold band. “He sketched it himself before meeting with Jessica, and she helped him tweak it and make it perfect.” You might say that a love for McCormack’s jewelry runs in the family. As Hayley notes: “The pieces hit that perfect balance between modern and timeless. They feel unique and cool yet elegant, classic, and stand the test of time. I can imagine my own daughters being just as excited about them in years to come as I am now!”

Nicky Hilton’s Jessica McCormack engagement ring also nods to the designer’s famously heirloom-worthy gems. “My husband, James, knew I always admired my mother’s classic Asscher-cut ring,” Nicky says. James enlisted McCormack to create the bespoke design with a 6-carat royal Asscher-cut diamond in a three-stone setting with a platinum band. “I was completely blindsided when he proposed. I had no part in the design, but I knew I was in good hands. James does have the best taste of any person I have ever met.”

Isabel Roth was just as pleasantly surprised when her husband Jake Stein popped the question on Christmas Eve at his family’s home on Martha’s Vineyard one night after dinner. “When I opened the door, all I could see were hundreds of candles and flower petals,” Isabel described to Vogue.com at the time. “He told me to close my eyes, and when I opened them, he was down on one knee with the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen that he had been secretly designing with Jessica McCormack for months!”

Many brides are also drawn to the designer’s Gypset earrings for wedding-adjacent events, like Sophia Bush, who recently coupled these and the edgy yet elegant rose-gold Ball n Chain bracelet with her one-of-a-kind Jessica McCormack ring at her rehearsal dinner. Others find they add a subtle touch of sparkle for their special day, from India Hicks to Ellie Robertson. When Ellie, the head of photo shoot production at Net-a-Porter, was married last year in London, the diamond earrings were her something borrowed. “I knew I wanted to wear earrings that didn’t detract too much attention but still caught people’s eye throughout the day,” Ellie says. “It was also important to me that nothing I wore on the day felt too removed from my usual style, which I suppose is polished but far from fussy.”

Indeed, the Gypset earrings would be the ideal wedding or anniversary present. “I’m a big believer that treasured pieces shouldn’t be saved for special occasions, be it a designer dress or diamonds, and Jessica McCormack embodies that,” Ellie adds. “Plus, her pieces are perfect for fun and irreverent pairings (read: pearls with pajamas and diamonds with denim).” Whether or not your  Jessica McCormack journey starts with the ring, the jeweler has just the thing to mark major milestones and every other moment in between.
