Co-Founder of Her Namesake Label Jessie Loeffler Randall’s Dream Registry is Elevated and Accessible

By Shayna Seid

What makes the perfect registry? Our Dream Registry series answers just that, providing an endless source of inspiration for those putting together their own Over The Moon registries. We enlisted the help of some of our most stylish and in-the-know friends—whether they’re single, engaged, or already married. (Because we’re taking a page from Carrie Bradshaw’s playbook and saying one should be able to register for Manolos no matter what their relationship status!) Peek inside the registries of tastemakers, from editors and stylists to wedding planners and beyond. Your dream registry is just a click away.

Jessie Loeffler Randall, the chief creative officer behind the popular footwear brand Loeffler Randall, founded her namesake label with her husband Brian Murphy, who is now the CEO, in 2004. The pair actually met at an advertising agency and have worked together ever since. In June of 2003, Jessie and Brian said, “I do,” at a church in Brooklyn Heights and then joined their guests for a romantic boat cruise around New York City.

Celebrity and OTM Brides alike have long worn Loeffler Randall designs to their wedding events, drawn in part by Jessie’s own personal elevated yet accessible aesthetic. “I don’t like to be too fancy. I like the mix,” she shares. “And I love things that have a handmade quality to them or something about them that is truly stand-out and special.”

While the Loeffler Randall headquarters is in Manhattan, Jessie and Brian reside in Brooklyn, where she also takes the creative helm, favoring pieces from their travels and unique one-of-a-kind keepsakes. “I love the green color of [our] paint and the beautiful Scandinavian wallpaper I chose and hung myself,” Jessie shares. Zoe Feldman, one of her favorite interior designers, aided in the remodel of her kitchen.

When asked how merging her and Brian’s styles together is going, Jessie laughs, “Not well! We have really different styles.” She goes on to say, “In the beginning I used to try to get him onboard. Now, I just do what I want and ask for forgiveness later—less fighting. He usually hates my ideas throughout the process but then in the end he is very happy. For example, he really loves our kitchen now that it’s completed. My style is very girly. And I would say his style is modern and industrial.”

Surprisingly, Jessie never made a wedding registry back when she got married—and she regrets it! So now the chief creative officer—who loves neutral colors, natural, raw materials, and handmade things—is flexing her registry skills just for us. “I liked picking items from some of my favorite brands like Sharland England and Carolina Irving and Daughters,” she shares.

“The Sharland England rattan chair is my dream chair. I love how vintage it feels,” Jessie adds. “It’s so beautiful and I’ve been coveting it for a long time. Louise is a friend and I adore her and her style!” To make every meal feel special, the co-founder uses Carolina Irving and Daughters dinnerware with Sabre place settings. “The detail and the patterns are just stunningly gorgeous.”

When building her registry, Jessie implemented an easy to follow methodology—“I added pieces that brought a smile to my face,” she says. “My advice would be to register for things because you love them and they bring you joy, not because you think you ‘should.’”
