The greatest love story on TV right now, a.k.a. Jamie and Claire’s time-traveling romance in Outlander, has returned! After a months long hiatus, or #droughtlander, “Heughligans” were finally treated to a sneak peek of the fourth season last night . . . and, to say we watched this snippet of what’s to come on repeat a few times would be a total understatement! Premiering in November on Starz, the show, which is based on the series of books by Diana Gabaldon, picks back up with Jamie and Claire being received by a distant relative in North Carolina. Once there, they encounter a brave new world and are forced to grapple with all of the drama and danger that comes with forging a way life in the American colonies at the end of the 18th century. From the trailer, it’s clear that the upcoming season is going to be a steamy mix of The Patriot meets The Crown and Game of Thrones, and we can barely wait.
