Paris Hilton announced her engagement to Chris Zylka via Instagram yesterday. The Leftovers actor proposed to the heiress and former reality TV show star atop a mountain in Aspen, where the two are currently vacationing, with a pear-shaped diamond ring that clocks in at 20-carats and is said to be worth $2 million. The gigantic sparkler was based on her mother’s engagement ring, which according to People.com, Paris has always had an affinity for. Zylka designed it in secret with diamond expert and celebrity jeweler Michael Greene—and the entire process, which normally takes three weeks, was done in just two days.

Hilton’s reaction definitely made it seem like her fiancé’s efforts were noted and well worth it, she took to social media to say: “So happy and excited to be engaged to my best friend and soulmate. Perfect for me in every way. So dedicated, loyal, loving, and kindhearted. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! You are my dream come true! Thank you for showing me that fairytales do exist.” Cheers to them and here’s hoping they both get their happily ever after!
