Jackson Wiederhoeft‘s latest bridal collection shows how the designer’s knowledge of fashion history seeps into each and every one of his pieces—after all, the website does describe Wiederhoeft as having a “sense of modern nostalgia.” Only launched in 2019, this offering brings forth the best of past collections like “Spooky Couture” and “Music Box.”

“For me it was all about synthesizing all the collections we’ve done since the brand launched into something that really balances the line between the real world and fantasy, with pieces that lean in both directions, or one or the other,” Wiederhoeft explains. Each of the looks in this 60-piece collection “are theatrical but in a way that supports and inspires what is one of the most important days of someone’s life.”

The former Thom Browne designer notes that “weddings and joy are coming back in a huge way,” and seemingly in preparation, he added an impressive new quantity of silhouettes, fabrics, and embroideries this season. “There are sooo many pieces I’m excited about, and one of the things that makes me happiest is knowing that there’s really something for everyone in this collection,” he says.

There’s one dress in particular, he explains, that’s known as the “Jackson dress,” as it epitomizes everything he loves in a piece. The quilted, dramatic puff sleeve gown is no doubt a showstopper, styled with a dainty fairy-like crown. We’re also big fans of the suited look and the mesh top with bow detailing—and now, we’re counting down the days until wedding season officially starts and is back in full force!
