Her clients experiencing the loss of loved ones are in similar positions with leftover mementos. “Once I started doing jewelry refreshes of heirlooms with a few customers, I was able to really see that I am touching these people and making them feel comforted in times where they might need it the most,” she says. “I have so many people that will come in and be like, ‘I’ve had this for 10 years, and now I’m finally ready to do something.’” It’s incredible what can be done with the pieces that you already own.
