We came across Vivetta’s Spring 2017 collection a couple of months ago via a Moda Operandi trunk show. There we were, just scrolling down the home page, when a robin’s egg blue dress covered in a cute safari motif practically jumped out and screamed: “Buy me!” Our love affair with the brand was confirmed when we met up with one of our favorite bloggers, Alice Naylor-Leland (a.k.a. Alice in Her Palace), for lunch at Locande Verde only to find her in a sample of the exact same dress.

If Valentino and Gucci had a baby, Vivetta is your girl—and lucky for us the price point is a lot lower. Started by Italian designer Vivetta Ponti, the pieces are made with light-hearted prints in feminine silhouettes but also possess an air of eccentricity. Poetry, dolls, fifties furniture, antiques, and sixties and seventies tapestries are just a few of the places Ponti draws inspiration from. The resulting looks are fun fit-and-flare dresses that wold fit right in at an engagement party, a bridal lunch, or an upcoming Valentine’s Day dinner. Here, we’ve picked a few of our favorite pieces that are all shoppable now.
