A Retro Desert Oasis Wedding in Palm Springs

Beth and Gerardo “Reggie” met through mutual friends, while living in Seattle. Once they were engaged, they chose Palm Springs as their destination wedding location. Casa de Monte Vista had a beautiful, Old World feel—like a secret garden oasis—so they booked it for their intimate, fall ceremony and reception. To help plan everything, the couple hired So Smitten Special Events, and for florals, they trusted GingerSnap Florals.

As the bride loves vintage looks, she found her bohemian lace wedding dress at shopping exhibition A Current Affair. The groom looked handsome in a white tuxedo paired with an emerald green bolo tie.

Outside on the lush lawn, the bride walked down the aisle with her parents to Reggie and their friend, who officiated the ceremony. Once announced as a married couple, they recessed, and Beth couldn’t help but do a little dance down the aisle.

After the service, the cocktail hour began in the back garden, where jazz band The Apollo Trio played uplifting music to kick off the evening celebration. Then guests took their seats for the delicious dinner, catered by F10 Catering.

The newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance to “If Not For You” by George Harrison, and then the wedding cake was served with churros for dessert. Throughout the night, people were on the dance floor, exploring the property, or taking pics in the old-school photo booth.
