After winning an exhilarating race in the Czech Republic, professional motorcyclist Scott Redding stepped onto the winner’s podium and surprised everyone by getting down on one knee and proposing to his girlfriend of nearly two years, Jacey Hayden. Once engaged, the pair started planning their timeless yet modern autumn wedding at The Majestic Downtown L.A. and sent out minimalist invitations by Taylor Design Studio.

Even before saying yes to Scott, Jacey knew she would wear a wedding dress by Australian label Pallas Couture. And once they set the date, she contacted the team to design a fully custom off-the-shoulder look, later named after her.

On the day-of, Jacey had her polished bridal glam done by hairstylist Amanda Wilson and makeup artist Landyn Alexa. Bridesmaids complemented Jacey in Shona Joy’s La Lune lace back maxi dresses in sage, while Scott looked handsome in a Saint Laurent–inspired suit.

On December 10, 2022, Jacey walked down the aisle with her father to meet Scott under a floral and greenery arch by Vibe Florals. “I just wanted to say I do,” the bride recalls. “I was smiling ear to ear the entire time. Scott was a bit more emotional. He cried when I walked down the aisle and cried when he read his vows, which seeing him being so vulnerable and so in touch with his emotions means more to me than I can explain.”

After being announced as officially married, the newlyweds had their first dance to “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton. Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal by Silver Service, followed by a vegan vanilla wedding cake with strawberry jam and mousse filling from Top Tier Treats. “Cutting the cake made me feel like we really just got married and it was official,” Jacey shares.

A fire dancer, magician, photo-booth, and DJ got the party started again—but some could argue the real magic happened after the reception closed. Later on, the fête moved to On The Rox, above The Roxy on Sunset. “When that closed, we went to Mel’s Diner with an even smaller group,” the bride remembers. “From there, we spontaneously rented a jet and flew to Vegas on no sleep for a night.”
