“It was a typical Saturday,” Jessica Josepher begins. Alec Josepher had planned brunch at one of their favorite restaurants. Afterward, when the two arrived home—Jessica still blissfully unaware—the door opened to a house filled with roses, and Jessica turned to find Alec on one knee.  “It was the most special moment with just the two of us.” The surprises didn’t stop there. When Jessica called her parents to share the news, she discovered they were already in town, at Alec’s sister’s house in Tampa. “We went over to Alec’s sister’s house, and both of our families and closest friends were there to surprise me. The afternoon turned into a party that lasted late into the evening!”

Jessica, who is the senior manager of client experience for Anna Lucia Events, embraced the wedding planning process. And, as she was especially drawn to the Italian dolce far niente of it all, she swiftly booked Villa Cetinale in Tuscany. “When I saw it, I just knew it was everything I had been searching for,” she notes. “We loved that the venue could accommodate a lot of our guests on the property, and we were able to rent it out for a whole week and spend lots of quality time with family and friends.” When it came to the event’s design, she embraced the venue’s natural charm, adding subtle color elements via Tuscany Flowers’s arrangements. The stationery suite, designed by Trout Designs, reflected the event’s aesthetic.

On the morning of May 21, 2024, Jessica prepped for her wedding alongside the expertise of Beauty Livery. She stepped into a Naeem Khan dress detailed with intricate floral beading and delicate shoulder ribbons, a look that felt uniquely her own. Completing the ensemble were Manolo Blahnik heels and thoughtfully understated jewelry: a diamond tennis bracelet her father had gifted her mother on the day she was born and a ring designed by Alec, using his late mother’s diamonds.

Cypress trees lined the aisle where Alec stood waiting. Jessica descended the villa’s staircase, arm in arm with her father, walking along a path bordered with poppies. “When I saw Jessica walk down the aisle, I couldn’t help but to smile from ear to ear,” Alec shares. “She looked absolutely amazing, and I knew in that moment I was the luckiest guy in the world.” The ceremony was swift and meaningful—exactly what the couple envisioned. “It was truly the most special moment of both of our lives.”

Photographer Matt Rice captured every moment of the celebration, including the alfresco reception in the villa’s garden. Guests gathered around one long table for a four-course meal by Class Eventi, served on a custom linen by Nüage Designs, designed by Jessica and Anna of Anna Lucia Events. Menu highlights included truffle pasta shaved tableside and curated wine pairings. The couple cut into their Italian wedding cake, which they dressed themselves, as solo vocalist Marco Schwaiger played the grand piano.

Alce’s favorite moment of the evening was their first dance to Elton John’s “Your Song.” “It was nice for the energy and excitement of the day to slow down, so that Jessica and I could have one more special moment on our wedding day that we will remember for the rest of our lives,” he says.

As the night went on, the bride featured a second look—Carolina Herrera’s Embroidered Spaghetti Strap Sequin Midi Dress sourced from Over The Moon. “I absolutely loved dancing the night away in this dress!” she exclaims.

A live band kept guests on the dance floor, while cocktails flowed, fueling the lively energy. When the festivities wrapped, the couple set off to Capri and Positano for their honeymoon.
