Content creator and ZoomInfo Marketing Strategist Mary Klein and Geoffrey Ferguson, founder of Coachman Partners, met on Hinge in Boston. “It really works!” Mary exclaims of the dating app. After two-and-a-half years together, Geoff proposed at La Bastide Airelles Gordes in the South of France, while the two were having their morning coffee.

“We really wanted our wedding to feel elegant, chic, and timeless but have an element of feeling really comfortable for people—almost like a black-tie Hamptons house party,” Mary says of the event’s aesthetic. Sarah Crowell of Mavinhouse Events made her vision come to life.

“I found my rehearsal dinner look before my bridal gown and before we even booked the venue,” Mary admits. “It was the first thing that really got me excited about the wedding planning process.” The early 2000s Oscar de la Renta was found at Happy Isles. The bride paired the designer find with Aquazzura bow heels.

For her ceremony look, Mary decided to combine two Anne Barge dresses for a custom one-of-a-kind dress. Her sister and maid of honor complemented her well in an Emilia Wickstead dress. And later on in the night, the bride changed into her second look with Amina Muaddi wedges, styled by Brooke Hasset.

On September 15, 2023, Mary and Geoff wed at a picturesque white church in downtown Bridgehampton. “It was literally exactly what I’d picture if I shut my eyes and imagined my wedding day,” Mary says. “I walked down the aisle to ‘There She Goes’ by The La’s, and the ceremony was filled with laughter and hydrangeas everywhere!”

After the pair were announced as officially wed, their guests were treated to Jean-Georges canapés, a hand-painted cocktail menu by Ink Revival at the white bars, and a saxophonist at Topping Rose House. Post-delicious meal, the newlyweds had their first dance to “Thank You” by Dido. “It seemed like people felt comfortable to have a good time, and while it was a black-tie wedding, it never was stuffy,” Mary says of the evening.

The bride and groom cut their cake and then swiftly invited the party into the attached barn, where the band of On The Move Entertainment was waiting. “We brought in another bar, and we had cocktail tables up against a few leather couches with pewter nut dishes, custom matchbooks, and tabletop cocktail lamps to give a lounge feel,” Mary says of the space. “My favorite part was pushing a brushed silver tray on the dance floor with slices of cake to make sure everyone got to enjoy and I could say hi to all of my guests! After the cake cart, the party really got started, and all the men ended up shirtless with just bow ties.”
