Monday Swimwear CEO & Co-Founder Natasha Oakley and Theo Chambers, founder of Shore Financial, were connected via their mutual friend, Brittany Gallagher. “At a bar in Sydney, she introduced him as her Greek friend that just had the craziest 30th birthday on the little island Kythira that his family was from in Greece,” Natasha recalls. “Over the next week, Theo won me over with his vivacious personality, dance moves, and endless funny stories. I left for L.A., where I lived at the time, and one month later and after many phone calls, I was back in Sydney with Theo for Christmas.”

After four-and-a-half years together, Theo proposed on the balcony of one of their favorite hotels on the Amalfi Coast. “Over the years Capri has been a very sentimental place to us, both being Cancerians and lovers of the sea, which is why one year later, we planned to have our wedding on the island,” Natasha shares. “We always associate Capri with sophisticated style, alfresco dining, and long days spent by the sea, so these were all elements we incorporated into the wedding day and the days surrounding.” To help plan their whirlwind wedding weekend, the two hired Capri Moments.

Natasha and Theo welcomed guests to Italy with a gathering at Gran Caffé Vuoto. The bride wore a shimmering, custom J’Aton Couture dress with Amina Muaddi shoes, Bulgari jewels, and a Jimmy Choo bag.

On June 30, 2023, Natasha walked down the aisle at Hotel Caesar Augustus with her father in a beautiful custom Steven Khalil lace wedding dress, styled by Marina Didovich. “I am used to hosting events or speaking in front of hundreds of people, but saying ‘I do’ in front of 110 of our closest friends and family was a lot more nerve-wracking!” the bride admits. “Before I walked down the aisle, I had to take a few deep breathes with my dad. The ceremony still felt very intimate; there were moments where it really did feel like it was just Theo and me.”

After being announced as officially married under the Capri Blossom floral arch, the newlyweds and their loved ones headed to Il Riccio for the reception overlooking the stunning coastline. The bride changed into a custom Michael Lo Sordo dress—matching her bridesmaids who were also in creations by the same designer—and had beauty touch-ups from makeup artist Sam Tsan of Charlotte Tilbury and hairstylist Alessandro Rebecchi. The couple’s parents and wedding party entered the space energetically to songs by Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson. Then, Natasha and Theo made their grand entrance to “Get Down Tonight” by KC and The Sunshine Band and “Celebration” by Kool & The Gang.

The delicious seated dinner was followed by the Greek Zeibekiko dance and the first dance to “The Way You Look Tonight.” Near the end of the night, a pyrotechnic display went off set to Frank Sinatra. “The entire day was something out of a fairytale, but the most memorable moment for me was holding Theo during the fireworks, whilst we all sang ‘New York, New York’ at the top of our lungs,” Natasha recalls. “It was one of those moments where you look around and think, ‘I will never forget this feeling for the rest of my life,’ I have goosebumps just talking about it. The night ended at 2:00 a.m. and it was safe to say it blew all of our expectations out of the water.”
