Over The Moon Bride and Ssense Global Head of Partnerships and Community Haein Dorin created her Dream Over The Moon Wedding Registry ahead of her Lake Como nuptials, and she’s returning to share her OTM Dream Baby Registry for her second baby girl, who arrived early—like her big sister—in August. “Our first born was a winter baby, so we centered the aesthetic around warm, cozy neutrals. For our summer girl, we are bringing a fresh, airy, and whimsical aesthetic into the mix,” Haein shares. “We love that we are able to bring two opposite perspectives into our lives through our children.”
As the styles and seasons differ between Haein’s two daughters, so do their corresponding registries. “For our first, we were focused on researching every product for every situation, and it was more centered around necessities,” Haein says. “This time around, because we have all of the core things, we were able to really focus on curating the right quality and aesthetic. I’ve used many products over the past few years and have been able to develop a preference over styles and product curation that is just right for our family.”
Haein’s recently discovered OTM-favorites like Gooselings, Louelle, Timo & Violet, and Palaka and fallen in love with their beautifully crafted materials. “I recently came across Palaka, a brand out of Charleston that hand-paints custom imagery on household wooden things and just thought it was so special,” she says. “Honestly though, because the Over The Moon curation is so well done, anything on my registry is a must have and dream to have!”
The new mom of two leaves us with the best piece of advice she received with her first born: “While it’s your baby’s first time experiencing life, it’s also the mother’s first time experiencing life as a mother, so don’t get frustrated or down on yourself if you feel like you have yet to perfect motherhood. I’m sure this advice will remain true with my second, as I will now be experiencing a new step in motherhood with two little girls. The opportunity to grow with your family is the greatest gift, and we are so excited to embark on this next chapter of our lives.”
