After a whirlwind Bridal Fashion Week in New York, where Over The Moon was on the ground at all of the Spring 2024 shows, we’re back—and here to bring you the highlights you need to know for next season. From Grace Kelly–worthy lace to a maximalist take on something blue, say ‘I do” to the 5 best trends to take off the Spring runaways and down the aisle. (You needn’t wait till spring to get the look, thanks to our Bridal Fashion Week–inspired edit!)

1. Grace Kelly Lace

After Naomi Biden’s Grace Kelly–inspired Ralph Lauren bridal look on the South Lawn of The White House this past November, all-over lace dresses with high necklines were a staple this season. The styles varied, from body-con silhouettes to full skirts, but the inspiration never wavered.

2. Billowing Jackets & Sleeves

Want a touch of Regency-core without fully committing? The answer is a voluminous jacket with removable sleeves. It can dress up a slip in an instant or dial up the drama for the fashion-forward bride.

3. Matching Veils

Taking florals or design elements from your dress and incorporating them on your veil has never been easier than for Spring 2024 brides. Markarian, Monique Lhuillier, Sachin & Babi, and more labels all showed styles with veils that featured coordinating floral elements from the dresses sewn onto the dresses for a head-to-toe effect. If you aren’t married to the matchy-matchy look, juxtapose an OTT veil with a sleek slip or column.

4. Corseted Bodices

Support is everything, especially on your wedding day. As people want “snatched” waists, designers have listened and presented many options that include well-constructed boning and built-in structure. From Vivienne Westwood to Monique Lhuillier and newcomers like Cinq, bridal corsets aren’t going anywhere. . .and they’ll surely be cemented in collections for the next few years, as Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story airs next month (mark your calendar for May 4th!). Rumor has it that the following season of Bridgerton will premiere at the end of this year.

5. Everything Blue

This season was less “something blue” and more “everything blue” in the best way possible. Markarian’s disty floral dress, with a matching blusher, would be the ultimate after-party look. Meanwhile, Ines Di Santo’s sweeping strapless dress with a Watteau back gave colorful new meaning to Old Hollywood glamour. Indeed, the blues never looked so good.
