When model Emily DiDonato tied the knot earlier this year in Colorado, she chose a strapless Oscar de la Renta dress to walk down the aisle. And while we can all agree that her wedding gown was stunning, we actually fell in love with her romantic getting ready outfit, a silk, lace-trimmed robe custom made by Daphne Newman. In fact, we were so taken by Emily’s prep outfit, we reached out to Daphne Newman to see if she would be willing to create a version of the robe for Over The Moon. And good news—she was into it.
Today, we’re releasing four of Daphne Newman’s robes in our shop. For brides-to-be, there’s a white silk robe, similar to the one the model wore for her wedding day, and another version of it in soft Egyptian cotton and Chantilly lace—at a better price point, too. As for your group of BFFs, cotton and silk robes in baby blue are also available—the perfect bridesmaid gift, in our opinion.
