Inside the glamorous Rainbow Room during New York Fashion Week, Markarian’s Spring 2022 Ready-to-Wear collection was debuted on the runway—a first for the New York City–based brand. The romantic label, which was founded in 2017, has long been a favorite of ours and OTM Brides everywhere—particularly after releasing a beautiful new bridal collection for Spring 2022. It was also launched onto the world stage when First Lady Dr. Jill Biden wore a custom Markarian coat-and-dress ensemble on Inauguration Day last January.

For the brand’s latest outing, Markarian brought out familiar silhouettes along with a few welcome departures from founder Alexandra O’Neill’s signature styles. The ethereal sparkle and dramatic design details will appeal to women who are ready to have fun with color and a bit of joyful flair. After all, who wouldn’t want to twirl around in the pink mini with a billowing floral train?

There are, of course, many looks that can be seamlessly incorporated into the wedding weekend wardrobe, too. The sleek, white slip dress underneath the embellished cropped jacket felt all but made for civil ceremonies, while the cream-and-white gingham dress with shoulder ties would be perfect for a host of wedding-adjacent events: the engagement party, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, and beyond.
