In Queen of the World, a new film on Queen Elizabeth and the importance of her role on the global stage, the Duchess of Sussex makes an appearance to talk about her wedding veil, which famously included hand-embroidered flora and fauna from all 53 countries of the Commonwealth of nations.

Now in a sneak peek clip of the HBO documentary, we learn Meghan also managed to weave in something personal into the 16-foot wedding veil, too. “Somewhere in here there’s a piece of blue fabric that’s stitched inside,” she says. “It was my something blue—it’s fabric from the dress that I wore on our first date.” Cue the sighs.
