Vera Wang’s Spring 2019 Bridal Dresses Are Works of Art

By Over The Moon

After becoming one of the most prominent names in the bridal world, Vera Wang, the queen of wedding dresses, is continuing to push the boundaries on what a bride should look like on her wedding day. In her past few collections, she’s presented black wedding dresses and Victorian era-inspired gowns. Now for spring 2019, Wang is focusing on more color—and lots of it!

Inspired by Dutch master painter Johannes Vermeer, Wang designed 11 looks featuring mustard yellow tulle skirts, lavender corsets, rose pink floral embellishments, and emerald green sashes. And while her dresses are certainly anything but traditional, the beauty and grand romanticism of her previous collections is still very much on display.

Our personal favorite from this latest offering? Wang’s lilac and sand-colored tulle gown with a deep emerald green sash, which we think would magically stand out like a floral work of art at a garden reception.
