What makes the perfect registry? Our Dream Registry series answers just that, providing an endless source of inspiration for those putting together their own Over The Moon registries. We enlisted the help of some of our most stylish and in-the-know friends—whether they’re single, engaged, or already married. (Because we’re taking a page from Carrie Bradshaw’s playbook and saying one should be able to register for Manolos no matter what their relationship status!) Peek inside the registries of tastemakers, from editors and stylists to wedding planners and beyond. Your dream registry is just a click away.

Ahead of the Olympics in Paris, we’re spotlighting an Olympian bride-to-be and her Dream Over The Moon Registry! Nothing like planning your wedding while competing for Team USA, right? Abbey Weitzeil is a gold medalist swimmer and a three-time Olympian, including the games later this month. As fate would have it, she met her fiancé, Michael Jensen, on the swim team at UC Berkeley. “Over the years, Michael had expressed interest in taking me on an official date, and after a couple of asks, I agreed,” Abbey smiles.

After four years together, Michael proposed on the day before Thanksgiving at sunset. And post-Olympics, she and Michael will say, “I do,” in September at Silverado Resort in Napa.

Ahead of an exciting few months, the California resident describes her Over The Moon Registry aesthetic as “clean, modern, classic.” She adds, “I love a calming color scheme. . .I try to find fun layouts in a room to play with and include some unique pieces. I have even made some furniture pieces from scratch or even refurbished some for my home.”

Must-haves for her Dream Registry were all luxe and especially focused on the kitchen. The Le Creuset Wine Pump caught her eye first. “We are wine lovers and sometimes just want a glass but not the whole bottle!” Abbey admits. “The stopper would help us keep our good wine fresh for longer.” And the Jean Dubost Laguoile Ivory Knives will surely add a special touch to the couple’s future gatherings.

Moving away from the kitchen, Abbey also recognized the cozy Matouk Cairo Bath Robes as the perfect his and her adds to their OTM Registry. “The bathrobes are a new luxe item we would love to have!” Abbey exclaims. “I personally have always wanted a plush bathrobe, and we have a sauna that would be amazing to have them for.”

The Olympian leaves us to compete in Paris and shares her advice for couples making their Over The Moon Registries: “Try and think of things you would want to have for a long period of time! Timeless items are things we tried to put on our registry.”
